They are handmade in India through factory organizations that choose and promote fair trade labor standards. The UNSECO 'Literacy For Empowerment' supports basic education programs in countries where literacy rates are lower than 50% or more than 100 million people need help recognizing simple words. Profits from these Finger Puppets are donated to the LIFE campaign, specifically directed to India where more than 270 million people can't read.
